MAIN BEAMS- The main beams of the Roadbrute are fabricated from high quality steel with a precision plasma-cut camber or “arch”. The mirror image construction removes the possibility of high or low beams on a Wilson trailer. Our ONE-PIECE beam design, from front to rear, is created using 130,000-PSI flange material and high strength web material. The beams are automatically welded top and bottom, both inside and out, producing a beam design with superior strength you can rely on. Wilson maintains a five-year structural warranty on the no-splice beams. Use of top-quality materials and production methods helps to create our long-lasting beam.
- Three full depth internal aluminum cross structures are used for beam stabilization on both Roadbrute and Premier trailers.
- Wilson’s patented side rail design is fully supported, top and bottom, with our full height TJ style crossbar, which is connected to the side rail in three areas. This design provides unitized strength to the side rails, floors and crossbars, plus increases the side rail’s securement capacities. Shown here is our popular C style side rail. - Wilson uses an anti-corrosive metal treatment throughout the king pin assembly. Components treated with this metal treatment become highly chip resistant and galvanically non-conductive so dissimilar metals can be fastened together. This coating permeates the steel to help resist corrosion from the inside out rather than the outside in. The king pin component is then undercoated and painted to give you the very best corrosion resistance in a vital structural area. A completely galvanized king pin component is also an option.
- The floor of the Roadbrute is made of 1-3/8” thick aluminum flooring material with apitong nailer strips, both running the full length of the trailer without any splices. This makes the trailer very stable and successfully reduces side sway. The floors are fastened to every aluminum crossbar using two 5/16” grade 8 screws. The use of double screws and full-length flooring material gives the Roadbrute great floor capacity and floor life.

LANDING GEAR: Holland Atlas 55, 2-speed, located 145" from front of trailer; aluminum braces are standard. | MUD FLAPS: Black rubber, anti-spray/anti-sail type is standard. | FINISH: All steel components are cleaned chemically, rinsed, and primed with a VOC-compliant, two-component urethane HS primer for rust protection, followed by a finish coat application of VOC-compliant HS acrylic urethane paint in a choice of Silver, White, Black, Dark Blue, or Red standard colors. All aluminum components are left natural.

Extra stake pockets are available as an extra cost option. | SIDES: TJ-style side rails are 6-1/4" high extruded aluminum channel incorporating a "Quick Tie" load securement system. Stake pockets are 3-1/2" wide x 1-5/8" deep x 4-1/2" high on 18" centers. Integral to the side rail is a double "L" winch track for sliding winches. Patent pending. | CROSSBARS: Extruded aluminum T-J type, 4-1/2"" high, on 12" centers in the king pin area; and 18" center in the balance of the trailer. | FLOOR: 1-3/8" aluminum floor with 4 nailer strips is standard. I-beams are fabricated of 130K steel, with 3/8" x 5" flanges. The main beams for the CF-1080 are 8-3/4" deep at the front, 25" deep in belly and 18" at the rear. (CF-1060: 7" deep at the front, 23" deep in the belly and 18" at the rear – 18". CF-1090: 10-3/4" deep at the front, 29" deep in the belly and 18" at the rear.) The trailer crown is cut into the web section; 3 sets of full depth internal cross structure to stabilize beams.

System: 12 volt I.C.C. standard equipment with 7-way connector. Grote internal ground wiring harness with Ultra-Blue sealed trailer wiring system and Grote LED lights are standard. Exterior lights are Grote MicroNova™ oval grommet mounted lights. Combination Turn/Clearance lights is standard. Tail lights are Lexan, factory sealed, and rubber grommet mounted, and consist of 2 groups of 3 individual STOP & TURN tail light units: one group on each side of rear end.
